Decent spot for noodles and dumplings. I've frequented this location a couple times now and what really stands out to me is their special stone pots. The beef stone pot noodle soup is flavorful and can be shared amongst two people. Good amount of vegetables, noodles, toppings, and beef. Both Sichuan numbing pepper and red oil numbing spicy were good. I usually lean towards red soups, but I actually preferred the Sichuan numbing pepper instead! The wait for soup pan fried buns took nearly 30 minutes. My table as well as others were practically done with our dishes before the buns came out, just awkward yet patiently waiting lol. I'd say it was kind of worth the wait -- lots of soup inside, crispy, and steaming hot. Restaurant was pretty packed on a weekend night; we waited about 20 minutes for a table for two. Minimal customer interaction since orders were made through a QR code, but they were still somewhat attentive.

We came here for lunch on a Thursday and there were a lot of people! You order online via the link from the QR code and you need to submit your order for your food to be queued in. We got the xiao long bao, stir fry green beans and spicy wontons. Everything was really good! Their noodles looks like a Chinese version of BBH (bun Bo hue) I would definitely come here again if I'm in the area to try their noodle options!

Service here is a tad slow. They are minimally staffed. The pan fried buns are very nice here. Might not compare with Old Town Shanghai, but it's pretty darn good still. Beautifully crisp bottom, not burnt so really easy to eat. There is a ton of soup inside and just warms the soul The sweet and sour fish was alright. I wouldn't get it again. I think I prefer the canto style way of cooking it a bit more, but I appreciate this delicacy as well! I loved their shredded potato's! To die for. Then they also had this beautifully cooked Yang zhou chow fan. So delicious. Sadly, ate it so fast I couldn't get the pictures.

Fast service and great food. I wish it was more spicy and numbing, but this place does the job well for the size and the price. Definitely a great find in Milpitas after having tried food on both coasts. Ordering is easy and done on an app so you can see the food and the bill as you order. Best part is you can make comments in there to customize your order.

With so many food options in this huge strip mall (or is it two strip malls in one?) I was like a deer on headlights after we parked the car. Soo much goodness. Very happy my shopping/eating partner in crime recommended Special Noodle House! The restaurant at first glance looked like it might be a newer establishment. We thought we might be one of the first customers. Signage was sparce. Decor was cute and unique. Upon entering the large dining room we were ushered to a table off to the side and shown the QR code for ordering. Ordering online was a snap and food brought out promptly. What we had: Beef wrap: Not overstuffed: good filling to wrap ratio. Flavor well balanced, Pork belly noodle soup: happy we shared everything. This dish had such a generous portion of Northern style noodles I tapped out on this dish 1/4- 1/3 of the way in. Very full tasting and delicious, happy dining partner gladly finished it up, Xiaolingbao: wow they are huuuge! Are they larger than Dumpling House? No, about the same size. Flavor tho had more depth here than counterpart. My favorite dish of day, and Stuffed fishballs balls: something different. Happy we tried but probably wouldn't order again. While ordering by QR code provides efficiency, I miss that human touch of engagement. Would have been happy if service checked up on us every now and then. Would I return? Absolutely. Would love another serving of those soup dumplings. Next time some pan fried dumplings too! Just be sure to go with engaging company like this day. Thanks AL L. for recommending this place! Winnas! Now have energy for a big shop day!! :-)

A group of us went to have dinner here, and we got to try some new items... Braised Pork Belly Mixed Noodles/Rice (3/5). The fresh noodles were nice, chewy, with a nice spring to them. Black Fish Fillet With Rattan Pepper and Stone Pot (4/5). Tender fish and the clear broth were tasty and delicious. Pork & Cabbage Boiled Dumplings (3.5/5). Griddled Pork Intestines (5/5). I never get a chance to order this. But, thankfully, another friend wanted to get this dish too. Fiery, spicy, & flavorful. For those who can handle spicy, this wasn't too bad. They did a great job of cleaning out the Intestines. It was slightly crispy. Sauteed Eggplant & Green Beans (4/5). Deliciously cooked. As well as, the some of our favorites Snow Flake Pan Fried Dumpling, Fried Buns, & Beef Wraps. The service was friendly and attentive. All the staff was great and helpful!
